My Journey began with Curiosity

Some journeys begin with hesitation. Mine began with curiosity.

When I first came across CARS24, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I had read a mix of opinions online, and naturally, a little doubt crept in. But then came the interview process and it completely broke the stereotype. No endless waiting for calls, no back-to-back formal rounds. Instead, I was asked to record a short video about myself, my interests, and why I wanted to join. 

It was simple, refreshing, and most importantly humane. 

That’s when I thought: maybe this place does things differently.

I immediately joined as an intern, still carrying a bit of that hesitation from what I had read. But here’s the plot twist: you really can’t judge a culture until you experience it yourself.

From day one, the kind of trust and visibility I was given was beyond anything I had imagined as an intern. Being part of the Founders’ Office meant I wasn’t just watching from the sidelines, I was in the room, contributing to real projects, learning directly from leaders, and seeing the impact of my work unfold. It wasn’t about “intern tasks”; it was about making meaningful contributions.

Very quickly, I realized how deeply CARS24 lives its values. There are seven core values at play here, each highlighting the importance of character in both your personal and professional lives. Hence, values such as “Spark love” and “Practise humility” aren’t just cool taglines here, it’s a way of working. Everyone, from peers to founders, made time to guide me, answer questions, and support me. That’s what made my internship not only smooth but also truly fulfilling. And the best part? Hard work is recognized here. 

At the end of my internship, I was offered a PPO, a moment that validated both my efforts and the culture that had embraced me so openly.

Stepping in as a full-time autonaut (we don’t use the word employee here), I thought I knew what to expect but the journey only got richer. The learning curve has been insane. In just four months, I’ve had the chance to work closely with the founders, collaborate with the wellness team, and now immerse myself in the business side. What blew me away was how warmly people remembered me from my internship and welcomed me back. It felt like picking up right where I left off.

One of the most meaningful parts of this phase has been the freedom to explore. I got to work across different projects and was then given the support to choose the business vertical I wanted to dive deeper into. Every business leader I connected with spoke with such passion about their work, and the way they took the time to explain and guide me was inspiring in itself.

Today, as part of CARS24 Elite, I am surrounded by a team that genuinely wants me to learn, grow, and experience the business in all its depth. I feel grateful for the opportunities I’ve had, excited for what’s to come, and most importantly, content with where I am right now.
