What is the FASTag annual pass?
This is exclusively for non-commercial vehicles like cars, jeeps, and vans. It offers cost-effective travel across all National Highways and National Expressway and covers up to 200 toll trips or 1 year of travel—whichever comes first. Avoid worrying about frequent toll payments, recharge hassles, or long queues at toll plazas.

Eligibility criteria
- Vehicle Type: Private, non-commercial vehicles such as Cars, Jeeps, and Vans.
- Active FASTag: Your vehicle must have an active FASTag installed on the windshield.
- Linked to Vehicle Registration Number (VRN): The FASTag must be linked to your vehicle’s registration number.
- No Disputes or Blacklist: Your FASTag should not be blacklisted or flagged for any disputes.
What things it doesn’t Include?
It doesn’t cover tolls on Expressways, State Highways (SH), etc. managed by State Governments or local bodies, parkings etc the FASTag will operate as a
regular FASTag, and applicable user fee charges may apply also , pass is non-transferable and is valid only for the vehicle on which the FASTag is registered.
Should you buy it?
If you are someone who travels frequently on National Highways, especially for daily commutes or regular trips, the FASTag Annual Pass is a smart investment. It can help you save money, avoid toll queues, and simplify your travel experience with a one-time payment. However, the Annual Pass is completely optional. If you don’t travel often, you can continue using FASTag as usual, paying per trip without any additional cost.
How to activate the FASTag annual pass
The FASTag Annual Pass will be available starting 15th August 2025 on the Rajmarg Yatra App, as well as the official websites of National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and Ministry of Road Transport and Highways of India (MoRTH).
Step-by-Step Guide to Apply:
- Visit the Rajmarg Yatra App or the official NHAI or MoRTH websites.
- Enter your vehicle and FASTag details in the application form.
- Pay the one-time fee of ₹3,000
- After payment, your FASTag Annual Pass will be activated within 2 hours.
What counts as a single trip under the Annual Pass?
For point-based tolls: Each crossing of tolls counts as one trip. A round trip (to and fro) counts as two trips.
For Closed Tolls: One pair of entry and exit counts as one trip.
