Canvas of My Career: Growing with CARS24

It’s surprising how your craftsmanship colours a path of growth you never imagined. Today, I feel grateful as I look back on a journey that’s been as much about growth as it’s been about creation, and I can proudly say, what a masterpiece it’s been!

A Creative Beginning

As a kid, I was always a visual and creative little person. Growing up in a typical middle-class family in the 90s, I’d spend hours drawing on windows, fridges, almirahs, and even old iron trunks. Art was my escape, my language, my way of seeing the world. From the 7th grade onwards, I was quite sure I wanted to become a designer (even the word sounded so nice), but I never thought it would actually happen. I took a leap of faith and chose design as my career. At NIFT, I found a vibrant community of passionate individuals, and suddenly, my dream didn’t just feel possible—it felt destined. It marked the beginning of a journey in which creativity became my identity. 

The Sketch Begins

It all started in 2018, in a small, humble basement office filled with hope and energy. CARS24 wasn't very big the way it is today. And for me, what seemed like just a workspace quickly became the heartbeat of something much bigger—a company fueled by bold dreams and an even bigger heart. And in that space, I found not only my creative spark but a family of like-minded souls ready to build something extraordinary together. We were in this together. And that warmth has continued to this day.

From Passion to Purpose

As a Graphic Designer, I immersed myself in a world where concepts came to life faster than I could sketch them. My first brushstroke on CARS24’s artboard was helping shape its visual identity. From crafting bold designs to experimenting with fresh concepts, the exhilaration of creating something authentic and effective was unlike anything I’d ever experienced. To turn words/thoughts into design is a different high altogether and when you are working with fellow Autonauts (that's what we call ourselves here) who understand each other, everything becomes a bonus.

Turning concepts into conversations

The following year, I had the opportunity to blend my passion for design with spatial creativity by conceptualising the interiors of our new office. It was a new challenge for us and looking back, we did a rather fine job. As the company grew by leaps and bounds, I took on high-profile campaigns, including collaborations with MS Dhoni and Sunrisers Hyderabad, pushing me to think bigger and bolder, turning concepts into efficient stories that connected with millions. 

Creativity Took Flight

Throughout my journey, my managers recognised my potential and provided unwavering support, helping me overcome self-doubt and face challenges with confidence. With the guidance of mentors and the collaboration of peers, With the guidance of mentors and the collaboration of peers, I not only had the chance to create but also build meaningful relationships in the team, and impactful designs. Today, as Design Lead, I am proud to guide a team of brilliant young minds, turning ideas into visionary designs and challenges into opportunities where each day feels like a masterclass in design. 

Growth, Innovation, and Beyond

In my six years or so here, CARS24 has grown from a basement startup to a trusted brand, and so have I. This evolution, along with every milestone, fuels my passion to contribute more. CARS24 has not just been a company—it’s been a partner in my growth, offering opportunities to learn, create, and lead. The trust and encouragement I’ve received have shaped my career and my confidence.
